Oh poo

Have washed DS2's nappies. Washer stinks of poo and so does the utlity room. All poo removed from nappies, mostly nappies are just wet. I am sick of the smell. I want him out of nappies.

Could you try running an empty wash with a cupful of bicarb of soda? Then air the room while you're doing it?

How come there's so much poo on the nappies? Do you not use paper liners? We hardly get any poo on ours.

We do use liners but I think DS2 is a wriggler and some of the new ones aren't as wide as our usual ones.

Was told past baby stage kids don't poo in their sleep??????????????????

Bollocks. My DS is 2 and he still does it.

I use two liners to cover the whole width of the nappy, then if they're poo-free I re-wash (depends what sort of liner you use; the ones that are more like kitchen roll are no good for washing. You need one that's a bit like a light, shimmery fabric).

Thanks. I thought it was odd too. Will try two liners. Some are from Boots and the others Waitrose.

Good luck, and well done for doing the eco-warrior thing!
