Boring but urgent!

Two nice shiny saucepans, now stained with scrambled egg and something black DH burnt on. Have scrubbed with spong thingy but any tips? Need pans for tonight's tea.

Bio washing powder and warm water. Leave to soak.

Bicarb of soda. Put a tbsp of the stuff in the pan with an inch of water and simmer gently. The burned bits will lift off.
