r cat is an outdoor cat and sleeps in the shed next door usually with their cats ( weird i know)
anyway last night he was limping bad so we brought him in, ofcourse we didnt have a litter tray so we thought it was bout 12 pm and he would be ok

well we forgot to close the living room doors and we have came down to the stink of cat pee, problem is i cant see any puddles anywhere to clean

i have a candle burning at the minute and have am off to look for the febreze for the rug, is there anything else i can do before i boke.

Best idea is a solution of biological washing powder or liquid - the enzymes break down the compounds in the urine which, even once we can no longer smell them, encourage the cat to do it again in the same place.

Is he neutered? If he isn't he may have sprayed on your walls or curtains, hence no puddles.

Good luck

Seriously, I'd move house, or in the least replace my carpets and furniture

I have had lots of experience with cat pee (everywhere) and if you can't accurately locate it and clean it effectively, the smell will never really go away....sorry

I do always recommend 'Wash & Get Off' spray too as that neutralises and puts the cat off going there again. It is very overpowering though.
