After a loooong wait I get the keys to my new home next week. It's a teeny teeny house and will be pretty much a blank canvas.
I need to find somewhere that can do really classically elegant furnishings that look a squillion pounds and cost about 30p. Or as near as you can manage. I like Laura Ashley style stuff and am specifically looking for rugs (large,sitting room ones) and a cabinet or sideboard that I can hide a tv in. I love the Laura Ashley Malmaison rugs in golds, something along those lines, old fashioned silk style.
So where do I look for Laura Ashley type style at much lower prices? Ebay isn't proving much use. I'm in the sticks so it would have to be online or a really common chain like Cargo.
