Our New Year resolution is to fix the house before it collapses over us... Anyone knows a good builder in north London? You know, someone who turns up on time and does not leave too much mess behind...

I can't help personally but you could try netmums.co.uk as we had a nightmare with our last builder! Type in your postcode and you get local listings (you may have to register). Then look under 'household help.' They are all personal recommendations. HTH

PS: I do know a very good plasterer if that's what you need!
