i do too. Either I can pick it up now or later (as it will still be there) so I just get on with it. Picking up one thing is better than an armful of wrongly placed stuff.
Put things in their right place. Does tend to mean I am running up and downstairs all day....good exercise though I suppose...

justneed. This has been a real 'lightbulb' moment for me.

It really does keep the place tidier, which in turn makes it quicker and easier to hoover or sweep as I don't have to clear away piles of stuff to do so, IYSWIM.
