unpacking the changing bag in a hurry tonight (looking for teething gel) and a wooly bear, a long one, flew out with the contents and started vigorously wriggling away from me to get out of the light...larvae of carpet beetle...ugh ugh ugh

I have found a few now....they are eating stuff in my wardrobe (Boden cardies and merino sweaters...sob) ...the dead beetles are in my downstairs drinks cupboard. I find the odd one on walls all over the house.

I think thay are either infesting something in the attic (shudder) or they came in when we got carpets fitted....

anyway, how on earth do I get rid?

Thanks

Kim and Aggie say they are a nightmare to remove and may require expert help but keep hoovering and cleaning. They say that you should be able to see them on your windowsils.
