I keep smelling it in the bedroom. I washed the carpet straight afterwards but the smell is still there - any advice?

Pet accident spray works wonders

Have you tried Bicarb of soda. Has been known to get rid of cat wee odours so may work x

LittleJingleBellas · 29/12/2008 23:17

I second bicarb

callmeovercautious · 29/12/2008 23:17

Bicarb - works on anything smelly. Shake it all over the patch, leave to dry then vacuum it off. Good for a smelly fridge too - especially after knocking over a jar of pickled onions

thumbwitch · 29/12/2008 23:18

presumably you mix the bicarb with water first?

solidgoldstuffingballs · 29/12/2008 23:18

Damn, sorry, misread this as 'dH' widdled on carpet and was going to suggest a sharp kick in the nuts and making him clean it.

pantomimEDAMe · 29/12/2008 23:19

I'd try bicarb dry like shake 'n' vac. But would recommend pet stuff anyway.

janx · 30/12/2008 12:48

Oh thanks everyone - sure I have some bicarb somewher
lol at the idea of dh weeing on the carpet - he would get more than a kick in the nuts
