Need a new iron - excite me about yours please

Our iron stopped working so we need one pretty quickly. If anyone has a really special one, please let me know why it's worth the money, or if you're pleased with your average priced one, let me know which it is. Many thanks.

We have a steam generator iron, a Morphy Richards, it is fab.

Yes, definitely a steam generator. So much quicker and easier. Mine's a Philips.

Thanks - off to get a tefal steam generator. Hopefully it will make ironing so much more fun!

I never ironed till I bought this- now I even iron SHEETS !!

Dreamteamgirl, I had the version before that one ~ and the one before that and it was fab...Then I got the generator and I would never go back!
