my relatives completely ignored my pleas for no more toys!

I want to sort them all out into a system where I can bring down boxes of toys at a time so I can rotate the toys and not have too many out at time.

do you know of a good shelving unit/cupboard, that isn't too ugly and plastic and is reasonably priced?

thanks!

Ikea - Expedit series - we have a 4 X 4 combo here and have 2 rows of baskets at the bottom. Then put books and board games or things that need to be up higher on the top two rows.

Most of the ikea baskets fit the gaps perfectly - we have baskets for cars, trucks etc another for trains etc

This is good. Can have it upright or on its side.

The Branas baskets in 32x35x32 fit perfectly here

Guess we're in agreement Sam

This is also a good storage system as you can add bits to it to get the size you want e.g. like this. Also you can add doors, drawers and shelves to make it work for you. Can also put feet on it if you have anything to stash underneath.

I've got the same problem. I'm thinking about the storage towers from Argos. Have to find the tape measure first though to make sure it will fit into the dc's wardrobe.

We have this and it is great.

"Argos 3x2 toy box www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8757166/c_1/1%7Ccat_10197552%7CChildren%27s+furniture%7C10 197719/Trail/searchtext%3ESTORAGE+UNIT.htm"

Very sturdy, holds lots in each box, yet still accessible to the children, on castors so easily moveable and easy to rotate boxes round. The boxes are also cheap - £10 for 6.
