Sadly, my love affair with the Roomba is starting to wear a bit thin if not wear out altogether.

So this morning I set him off to do his usual brush round. He is not picking up. Again. Third time now. I am not happy.

I've cleaned his brushes, his wheels his sodding backside, EVERYTHING.

Emailed to Domotec telling them I HAVE HAD ENOUGH. (and breathe).

How long have you had it/him?

snoringnightmare · 19/12/2008 14:48

11 months. Very nice lady has called me in response to my email saying it sounds like the brush motor has gone. I told her that it had gone once already and been replaced (first time it went wrong) but she assures me that the new motors are much better and she will send me one in the post. Easy to replace I'm told. Don't know what was wrong the second time they asked me to send it to them, repaired it and sent it back.

They are not responsible for replacing/refunding apparently I would have to go back to where I bought him from originally.

AARRRRGHHHH! That's better.

where did you get it?

I just got one from lakeland last week becasue they have a lifetime gaurantee

I am still in love though

Bought it online, can't remember the site. Have stil got the receipt though so will sort it out. Lady at the servicing centre didn't seem to think they would replace it though, but I pointed out it had broken down so many times already "it was not fit for the purpose it was sold for".

Not sure how I'll get on but will put a complaint in. Just worried if it keeps on breaking down out of the guarantee period it's going to cost me a fortune in repairs.
