BWB just noticed your dreadful news. Lowlife pieces of crap. There are no words to express how sorry I am to read this.

ok thank you mad- can you tell i don't make pastry normally?

AndaGrouchyBahHumbugtoyou · 16/12/2008 17:07

OK, Tidied up from coming home, bags packed, clothes out for morning, lunches made, DW on, worktops washed and sink shined. I think I'm done for the day

Dyls This is it. Too many black and blue blocks for me

TheGarishlyTwinkleyMadHouse · 16/12/2008 19:23

Groucy That is cool, but far to hard for me I am sure he will love it

I am feeling a bit off - I have had a call and it is prob the HRT that is causing the high BP - It is all a bit of a balancing act, I need quality of life, as well as quantity. No point in going through all this to have a stroke or to be a sreaming banshee with oestoeporosis lots to think about.

DS1 is at the hospital tomorrow am to see if his imunisations have worked this time. So blood tests etc and also a meeting with his pead regarding his chest condition, so might not get on here till later.

It is also his party at preschool.

dylsmum1998 · 16/12/2008 19:26

go that is cool, gonna take lots of patience but so cool when finished.

tmh oh dear life's not easy is it.
hope all is ok with ds tomorrow

i was gonna do some baking tonight but feeling a bit tired now. dd asked to brush her teeth and go to bed so she's gone, not quite asleep but wont be long by look of her eyes.
just ds to go then i can go to...........

TheGarishlyTwinkleyMadHouse · 16/12/2008 19:27

Dyls I know I am lucky to be aware of my risk, but it is hard managing it and life sometimes too or at least it seems that way at the moment.

Baking can wait.

AndaGrouchyBahHumbugtoyou · 16/12/2008 19:43

Dyls It is, and I know he has the paitence to do it. It's Lego all the way with him

TMH I understand what you mean.

TheGarishlyTwinkleyMadHouse · 16/12/2008 20:00

Eye I thought you would - it must be the same for you too, that balance of quality against quanitity.

evening

Grouchy that car is cool My ds would love it, but poor dh would have to make it!

We have just got home from ds's nativity show - very cute!

Had an upsetting afternoon though - I had to stay in to wait for a delivery so had asked another mum from school to drop ds home to me. However, at 3.25 I got a phone call from the school saying they had ds there, in a very distressed state having been found wandering alone and very upset near the school Thankfully a kind stranger found him and returned him to school. Ds had gone out to the mum he thought was bringing him home and she'd told him it wasn't today she was bringing him home (crossed wires somewhere...)Ds went back to try to get back into school but the TA asks who's collecting him - he says the other mum, the TA doesn't listen to ds properly and tells him he has to go, she's locking the door and told him he wasn't allowed back into school. The poor lad then didn't know what to do, didn't want to go back into school for fear of teh TA telling him off so just stands on his own near the school crying until the kind stranger finds him and takes him back in Bloody TA, she really shouldn't have let ds out without making sure he had someone to go with! I am very for him, he was sooooo sad when I collected him
How do I go about complaining to the school?

wendycarolsinger · 16/12/2008 21:54

Oh Bianca that's awful! I would go to the office early doors before school starts tomorrow and ask to have a quiet word with the Head and just tell her the tale as you have told us. Make sure the secretary brings the Head, you must insist to see her/him and complain - it's terrible! You're right the TA should NOT have done that. Poor DS and poor you

Dyls - Nigella expressly says don't add more butter as it is the Trex which makes the pastry flaky and yummy

Mad you are doing perfectly as far as I can see in getting that balance right. But I understand completely what you mean about the quality of life thing. Hope you go ok at hosp tomorrow

Grouchy which Santa did you go to and would you recommend?
