rusty stains on whita bath

Can anyone help? myy dd was playing with a metal bucket in the bath (a toy one, not a massive bucket!) and it has left a rusty type ring on the side of the (white, newish) bath which i cant seem to get off? any ideas domestic goddesses of mn? thanks

Try Barkeepers friend - you buy it in the supermarket, its a white powder. Our builders recommended it to us as they managed to get marks on our bath that wouldn't shift with anything else.

I use it all the time on the bath as DD2 likes taking all manner of strange things into the bath!!

Yes, Barkeepers friend is good, especially if you leave it on for a few minutes.

I use it on my kitchen sink when dh has emptied half a mug of coffee in and not rinsed it away
