Stained plastic highchair tray...

I gave ds2 some tomato sauce on his pasta. I've only ust got round to cleaning the tray on his highchair and this has been stained a lovely red. Serves me right for being slovenly and leaving it

Does anyone know how I can get the stain out?

My ds's highchair (Antiplop from Ikea) gets stains sometimes but they fade pretty quickly with no extra measures apart from normal wiping down after meals. It's got a bit of a yellow curry stain on it from last night's dinner at the moment as a mater of fact!

Do you know what type of plastic it is? That might make a difference. I just had a look at mine underneath and mine is no. 5 so it's polyproylene.

Matter and polypropylene I mean!

Vegetable oil sometimes gets it out.

Oh also meant to say I sometimes leave it overnight too in similar slovenly manner and that doesn't seem to set the stains any more than usual.

Cillit Bang gets most stains out for me or even just an antibac spray cleaner (or a milton wipe!). Cillit Bang is the best for stains in our house tho.

Will try the veg oil later and if it doesn't work head out to get some CB

it will fade over a few days or a week ish..

by which time you will give another tomatoe sauce thing and that new stain wil be there for the next week (even if you wipe off asap)

just get used to it until she out of the highcahir
