what things do you use in your sink(ceramic)and plug holes to keep them fresh ?

Bicarb of soda with distilled vinegar

Bicarb in first, leave for 10 mins pour on vinegar ... it fizzes nicely and rinse with hot water

is distilled vinegar the white/clear stuff ? and it's not harmful to fittings ? am scared of chemicals !
