My cat has pooed all over the carpets/sofa - they are beige

and I have scrubbed and scrubbed but it's still truly disgusting. Any ideas of how best to clean them? Are steam cleaners any use. It's absolutely revolting. Please?

You can get special stain removers from Vet - I think they are called Stainaway - for biologicalorganic animal stains. There are the only ones that work for me as I have both cat and children doing this. Was quite expensive - about £6.00 for a spray bottle.
