How to unscrew a loo seat...

Just brought a trainer seat but you have to unscrew the loo seat to fix it on. I have looked under the loo and the screw has a plastic flimsy screw thing on the end that I cant seem to unscrew. Any ideas?

Yes you have to unscrew that plastic thing from underneath. Turn it anti clockwise to loosen.

Buy a seat that you just put underneath the original loo seat, ours was about 2 quid, much less hassle

bash it?

dunno. mine cant have been hard coz i managed to change it. [no help at all]

call someoen practical and pretend you want them to tell you how, look blank, and then let them sigh heavily and do it for you.

I have one of the seats you put underneath but I liked this as it attaches to the loo and just flips up!

Cant seem to unscrew it, it must be so tight.
