Big clean before the Christmas decs go up????

Anyone else have to do a big clean in the room/or rooms that their tree/decs go up in??? I get myself abit stressed this time of year, i have to give the room a really good going through before i can put the decs up. Only thing is, i just don't think i will have time this week and really wanted the tree up by today
I gave the room a really good going over about 4 weeks ago and since then have just dusted and hoovered but it really needs all the furniture pulling out etc., I just feel 'dirty' if its not sparkling before the tree goes up......anyone else like this, or just me???

No, I do a big clean as well.

Although I would say my house is always clean and generally quite tidy, I give the sitting room a thorough going over before the tree goes up because it is going to be at least a month before I can get the hoover in there properly and dust the surfaces.

Thats how i feel, just time is in short supply at the moment and i am stressing that the tree isn't going to get put up for ages I never feel really Christmassy until the tree is up!
