I've got the day off tomorrow while DS is in Nursery. I want to make it as productive as possible. Anyone want to join me. I'm going to have to promise myself to only come on Mumsnet first thing in the morning to see who is joining me and last thing at night, as I will waste time chatting and giving advice that I haven't really got a clue about.
I've already booked a hairdressers appointment at 2.30pm, so everything in the house must be done by then. Then afternoon a little shopping and chores then paper work before I collect DS. Any one want to join me. I'm going to make a paper list now and post that later. Must get dressed now and give DS breakfast

hunnybun1981, The race is on. I've done a little preparation today, put the toys that need to go to the charity shop by the trolley today. I'm going to wash Fireman Sam's helmet (does that sound rude?!!!) in a moment as nursery have fancy dress tomorrow, pls pray that he still wants to be Fireman Sam tomorrow.
So the list goes.
1.Take DS to nursery. quickly check what time the laundry opens.
2.Return home and put washing on dryer washing in machine.

  1. Put outside dryer in the shed doubt if we get a dry day now.
3 clean up toys to take to charity shop. 4.Tidy toys and probably add more if they fit in the trolley. Put various items (potty that a friend thought she wanted but changed her mind back in the loft.) Look for spare single quilt for Mum to when she stay over. It must be some where.
  1. Get Ds toddler linen under my bed or in a draw in his room.
  2. Order online QPR stuff for DH. Get songs for a song sheet (long story)
  3. Take toys etc. to shop.
  4. return home see if I have time to get another load drying.
9 Get a service wash for summer quilt and pillows. 10. return home have Roast lamb sandwich 11. brush teeth (garlic in lamb) 12. Go to hairdressers 13. Buy two single sheets for spare new bed 14. Collect boots, fab Duo boots. 15. Collect dresses that have been altered 15. If I have time look for camera Haven't a clue where it might be. 16. before collecting Ds at 5.30pm pop to jenny's with her pie dishes. It's a tall order but it got to be done. You would think I lived in a huge house with all the stuff I lose but it's only a 2 1/2 bed house. The camera & quilt must be some where under something????

Hope your list isn't as long as mine Hunnybun

Where are you Hunnybu?. I suppose you haven't got back from school. I have two more things to add to my list that woke me up at 4am. I've got to post Ds's proof that we live at our address for his school admissions, photocopy birth cert and Christening cert for one school. I leave the vicar form until Sunday for DH to do. All very scary as it has to be all in by 3/12/08!

Hunnybun, You do have a juggling act on your hands. We had that last week, (not nights as I ran away from that a few years ago) That's why I've got today off.
I bet you did better because you gave yourself a target. Easier to take a day off from kids & DH to really gets some major things done. You must have a plan otherwise you spend the day on Mumsnet in your nightie with nothing to show for it.

Almost all the jobs done.
Jobs missing
Buy linen, find camara and hanging out second washing. It's always the really boring jobs that let me down. Going to do the washing now and fill with a load that can be dried in the dryer. exhausted now and feet hurt. But a good day's work me thinks
