Sweat stains on Dh's white shirts...what else to try?

I've squirted them with prewash sprays, bought different whitening sachets, put vanish powder in with the wash, washed them hot (but not boil wash) soaked them overnight in a vanish solution. Is there anything else I can do?

sorry to say this berrie but in doing all that you may have fixed the original stain.

we used vanish stuff on our carpet and when the professional bloke came to clean our carpets he said that alot of these products can end up fixing the stain if they don't get them out.. ie nothing esle will be able to do it either.

A good soak in Napisan works brilliantly. Adding some to each wash from there on stops the underarms getting crusty in the first place

prewash with Biotex

Gosh lots more to try. Hope that you are wrong Bythe!
Dh has to run a course next week and it's so much worse if he's gesticulating at a flip chart. I can't buy more as they have to be sent away to be embroidered and it takes a while.

I have had to switch washing powder from Persil to Ariel but it works much better. The new shirts haven't got stained and the older ones are almost back to normal.
