Now, I was just about ready to buy a Roomba but have just looked at your

SquiffyHock · 18/11/2008 20:45

Sorry about that!!

Was set to buy the Roomba but have just read that Scooba "Preps - picks up dirt, sand and crumbs" does this mean that you don't need a Roomba with it?

NotanOtterOHappyDay · 18/11/2008 20:48

No squiffy i think Roomba should be defunct for wooden floors with scoobs to 'prep' them!!

I know had an email today! [excited saddo emoticon] But don't you mean Roomba should go round first then Scooba mops afterwards or have I got that wrong?

NotanOtterOHappyDay · 18/11/2008 20:52

i dont think so but i may be wrong...timed nicely for xmas dont you think!

GrabShellDude · 18/11/2008 20:54

Well I hope it's buckets are bigger than Roomba's as mine is always full of dog hair. Can't imagine there's enough room in one to have enough water as well to wash the floor.

Right who's going to go first and buy one and report back?

NotanOtterOHappyDay · 18/11/2008 20:55

I wish i could say me!

ChasingSquirrels · 18/11/2008 20:56

MrsWeasley · 18/11/2008 20:57

KatieScarlett2833 · 18/11/2008 20:59

NotanOtterOHappyDay · 18/11/2008 21:01

ChasingSquirrels · 18/11/2008 21:02

ChasingSquirrels · 18/11/2008 21:02

NotanOtterOHappyDay · 18/11/2008 21:10

blossomsmine · 18/11/2008 21:19

Can't use it on laminate then? It says sealed wood floors? No good for me then.........I really WANT one.

SquiffyHock · 18/11/2008 21:28

I need to find out if the Scooba on it's own is enough, if so, I'll be the tester!! I can justify one but not both (excited now!)

GrabShellDude · 18/11/2008 22:27

Port and Lemon, the Roomba service people I know of are Domotec - you get their details with the Roomba. Mine has had to go back to be fixed twice within 9 months but they returned it within a couple of days. If you need the details let me know and I'll find them out.

Squiffy - go on then and let us know!

chloemegjess · 18/11/2008 22:30

I want one but can't afford it! (sad)

PortAndLemon · 18/11/2008 22:36

Would love details -- got mine v early via some random company and don't think I got details, but then it stopped working and hot lemon drinks don't seem to be cutting the mustard...

GrabShellDude · 19/11/2008 08:23

Website is Domotec.co.uk. Servicing department details under "Contact Us". Just tried to link but failed miserably. Must work on linkage!
