bythepowerofgreyskull · 17/11/2008 09:20

morning all,

all bets are off today, DS2 has a fever and slept for about 2.5-3 hours last night hence we are on a go slow today

Have to make some phone calls pulling out of the things I normally do on a Monday. this morning should be straight forward but this afternoon could be more complicated.

Doctors appointment at 11.30 (ish) so we will see what they say about him wheezing so much.

will try to do some ironing if he has a sleep.
go to make fish pie for dinner.

TheMadHouse · 17/11/2008 09:34

Greyskull You prob know this be make sure the air is humid if he is wheezing - kettle in the room he is sleeping, ironing in there or a humidifyer.

I am the queen of wheeze with DS1's condition it seems all we do it battle it Hope he feels better soon.

Thnaks for the thread TMH

greyskull hope ds is better soon x

I have my ds off school poorly today. He's had a mildly upset tummy for a couple of days but it's worse today. He's fairly bright in himself so it going to need occupying....he's watching Star Wars atm while I mumsnet finish my morning routines.

I could do with spending tiem in our spare room today - it's awful in there again I'll just have to see how ds and I get on.

bythepowerofgreyskull · 17/11/2008 09:43

thanks TMH - house is humid because I am trying to dry washing on the radiators!! bit like a chinese laundrette here. but will boil the kettle a bit more - love the excuse for another coffee.

Have managed to get out of this afternoon, but need to pop in and help them set the church up but we won't stay for the session.

Back later

wendylanguage · 17/11/2008 09:57

Mad have you remembered your prescription?

Greykull good luck at doctors, have a slow day and don't worry

I am just about getting going, have tidied all the hotspots but the new spare room (our old bedroom, full of mould on walls) is just a dumping room now full of toys, need a rethink really

Need to ponder a big decision today, will ask all your advice later.

I have dp at home messing up my routines again, but he has done a few jobs I wanted, and cleared out the shed, so not too much complaining here.

He's gone to the shops for tonights tea (salad) and to book me a hairdressers appt. I haven't had my hair cut for about a year, and I was on the verge of shaving it off last night I was so sick of it!

Dinner is done
boys are bathed and PJ'd
I am PJ'd too

My hand isnt great and I didnt manage to peel the potatoes - it cramped , so I used some mash I had in the freezer.

I have asked DH to prep the veg for tomorrow this evening

The boys are currently having reading time with daddy , so I have done a quick once round upstairs.

I have all the bedding to pop in the loft, well DH does when he is done.
