Kleeneze do an extractor fan degreaser. I have just got one, but haven't tried it yet - I plan to test it today, so will post later!

Their other products are good - I have just got a fabulous potato peeler --Sad, I know, but I have painful finger joints, and find peeling veg difficult, and the kleeneze peeler is the best I have ever tried.

What about some sugar soap

Haven't cleaned the fan, because it is brand new, but the Kleeneze stuff has done a good job on the hob. It also took all the stuff off the light inside the oven. It seems to be a good product. I don't think it is too expensive - can't remember how much it was now, it has been sat in the cupboard for a while.

(That cillit bang stuff took the finish off my new toilet seat - it may be a good degreaser, but it can do a lot of damage).

You have to be really careful with these things.
