We live in a 70's house which was in a state when we bought it and needs updating. So far we've changed all the outside doors and windows to UPVC, new kitchen, soft neutral colours and will shortly have pale wooden/laminate floors downstairs. The house is mid terrace so creating light on the landing is hard. Anyway we need to change all the internal doors as they are old-fashioned and in a bad state. We can't decide!! We want a fresh contemporaru feel to our home and it's between the normal white six panel door or wooden colour veneer style like they are now fitting in new homes. Either choice with be fitted with modern chrome doorhandles. Some examples are here:
