dust buster thingies - any good?

does anyone have a dust buster that they use? I'm tempted by the half price Black and Decker one in Argos (£30 not £60) but will it just be another unused gadget?!

Was thinking it would get the dc involved a bit but is that just wishful thinking?

I love mine and use it all the time!

Good if you have wooden floors and occasionally get the 'tumbleweed' floating out from under sofa/corners etc. Also very handy for quick crumb clean-ups in the car.

we love ours and use it several times a day

IME it is worth paying a bit more and getting a decent one. pretty sure ours is black and decker, that sounds like a great offer.

I bought a dyson one and was totally at the cost, but use it every day, up to 5 or 6 times a day-my most used gadget! xx

Meant to say ours is the B&D one too. It's well worth it

I have the new mini dyson, is fab, I use it for the stairs and for the sofas. Suction is great and doesn't slow down as it runs out of juice like most versions. You get 6 mins before it conks out, which doesn't sound like much but as it's one where you hold down to activate, rather than on/off switch, 6 mins is plenty.

I do 2 sofas and 2 armchairs, bottom cushions and under cushions, footstool plus stairs in one go.

It is more £££ though, I paid about £80 I think from Amazon.

I've got that one too flowery-it is fabamondo!
