ikea ektorp sofa bed?

i have an ektorp sofa which is lovely and suits us very well. i would like to get another two seater. how does the sofa bed compare to the actual sofa in term of comfort? we dont have a spare room here for guests, so i guess a sofa bed is always handy. but dont want to get it if its going to be uncomfortable.

will be an ebay purchase as one nearby atm is listed.

It is the same sofa, just a bit that goes under the bed. We ordered the sofa bed and the bed bit came weeks later.

Sorry, that does not make sense. The bed frame thingy slots under the normal sofa (not under the bed).

The bed sofa is just as comfortable as the normal sofa.

o good. was just worried i'd feel the 'bed bits' through the sofa iykwim.

My friend had it. It was comfortable to sit in as a sofa, and as a bed it was comfortable to sleep on too.

I am considering getting one.
