I'm really chuffed today...Obama making President has really cheered me up. I just really hope all his promises can make the positive changes America needs (cos lets face it we get most repercussions from almost everything they do!)
I hope too that he stays safe.
How cool that such a monumental moment in history happens when I'm alive!!

Anyway....I had better get on and find the mission!

TMH - I bought a ligtbox last year. I just got it out this week as have been having more off days than usual. will let you know how i get on with mine.

Good News...I found my Fav specs, my ugly heavy Tommy Hilfilger ones. They'd fallen into my smalls box in the bedroom They're back on my nose now so I'm happy

Getting ready for fireworks I've got tea cooking (Pork pies, mushy peas, baked spuds) and I'vbe made a ginger cake too All since getting Ed home

Got another Job interview tomorrow. We'll see what comes of this one

hi everyone, hope you've all enjoyed your fireworks. had a very unproductive day today but did managed to phone the estate agent about the mould on the bedroom walls, and take the kids to local soft play for nearly FOUR hours! we hardly ever go, that's my excuse!

house is a tip, new birthday toys etc all over, can hear DH sweeping kitchen floor and my mum has done the ironing what a crap housewifey I am!

speak to you all tomorow, you lot are all so friendly and lovely! And it is SO great about Obama! (I said that today at soft play, and the woman gave me a blank look, and said 'who?'!!)

Wendy Tomorrow is another day . I wish my mum would do my ironing

We had a fab time at my brothers, DS2 danced the night away and was the life and soul DS1 seems to have a knack for apple bobbing. Bro did great Fireworks.

I am taking Neice, who is the same age as DS1 to soft play with my two in the morning and also going to treat them all to lunch there.

They went to bed at 9.40 - eek - so am expecting grumpy babes in the morning.

I may be a bit stange tomorrow, as it will be 9 years since my fathers death and I am missing him so much. He would love the boys to bits and be so proud that DS1 is named after him. He was the glue that kept my mum sane and a great man - sadly missed by all that knew him . Anyway I am a little morose and have had a good cry.

I also think the whole Obama thing has got me thinking just how isolated we are - There is only one mixed race child at the Preschool DS1 attends. Back in Reading it was so multi-cultural.
