Hi i had a kids party today and 1 baby was sick a few times on my carpet :-( and a kiddy cut hinself (quite badly) and i had blood on my carpet.
I soaked them up with kitchen roll, then wiped with a wet/damp tissue then patted back up after with kitchen roll.

Is there anything else i can do?......
I've been told not to use my all purpose anti-bactrial spray to clean it as they strip your carpet of its natural defence something or other....

Dont mean to sound mean but i dont want any smells etc and its right at my little dd's play area.

All advise / tips welcome

I use a little bit Dreft - the woollen washing powder, mixed with water in a spray bottle, spray on and 'massage' in well with your fingers, if you rub fast it could change the texture of the carpet in that spot. next blot up with kitchen roll, leave to dry and hoover as usual the next day.

If you don't have any dreft, you could use a normal washing powder but probably better to use a bio one as they don't contain bleach to clean like non bio. Buy Dreft in for next time, then you've always got some.

The guy that came round to shampoo our carpets told me this and it does work brilliantly.
