Blood stain on lino - how do I get it out??????

Ok, DS cut his lip open, blood everywhere etc. Realised too late that I missed lots of it when cleaning up hastily and dealing with very upset toddler.

I have light coloured lino on my bathroom floor which now has a dark brown smear of a blood stain on it.

I have scrubbed this and bleached it and scrubbed some more but it is not moving. Is there any magic solution or Grannies/MNers remedy which you may know to help me remove this?!

All help greatly appreciated.
Thank you x

I have been told that salt can do wonders with blood stains on floors, but I'm not sure whether it's too late.

Pants.
Upon reading up on this just now, it appears I've 'set the stain'.
It looks rancid & it was a new floor last year. Oops!

The internet suggests peroxide or amonia. Not totally sure about those though, I have visions of melting my lino!
