Taking up the yucky old carpets upstairs has revealed reasonably nice floorboards. I'm keen to paint them white to lighten up the rooms (have low ceilings and need to 'lighten and brighten' before anyone suggests staining them dark).
Can anyone recommend a hard wearing white floor paint (ideally not too glossy) which can be mopped and knocked about by small children. I've scoured Homebase and found remarkably little. Tried one, but even after 3 coats it isn't as opaque as I would like.
I might be swayed by a 'healthy' paint if anyone knows a good one.
