Ok, living room is as follows..

Feature wall of dark chocolate paper which has a gold/beige flowery pattern on. Then other 3 walls are painted in a rich cream colour.

Flooring is (or will be) neutral coloured carpet.

Curtains are these but I also want a blind as people around here are nosey.

So, have discounted vertical as looks too officey, have looked at wooden and fake wooden venetian ones but not found a colour i like and am now looking at bamboo ones but I am not sure which colour I should be going for.

The furniture in the room is a sort of mid/pale oak colour, not at all orange or yellowey which most woden blinds seem to be.

I was thinking maybe a dark coloured blind will go but need some opinions. This is the one I am currently looking at here and opinions or suggestions greatfully recieved.

Oh, I also meant to add that I am trying to give the room as much of a warm feeling as possible as it is a big room and can be very cold.

When I click on that link I get no products found..

any good

If not it is the woodweave blind section and it's the jasmin oak one.

I was thinking that if I had a dark coloured blind I could then have dark picture frames etc to tie it all in.

Yep that link works, tryong to merge the curtains and the blind together, it certainly doesnt clash, very nice. But will it make the room darker/colder?

Be aware that bamboo blinds, although lovely, can be very see-through from the outside at night (something I didn't realise for a while after I had fitted one )

Thats ok Pixel, as the curtains would be drawn at night aswell.

I don't think it would make the room colder.

Oh I have dark chocolate sofas too if that helps.

Doesn't matter if it makes the room slightly darker as it is a very bright room and on nice bright days I will roll it so far up anyway.
