ludagoryghoul · 29/10/2008 15:06

how did you manage that rubes?

Hi Bianca Awwww your morning sounds brilliant. I haven't got round to carving the pumpkins yet (have 3 of them to do!)

I've spent literally most of today tidying upstairs.
Very pleased to report that it is now looking great!

Kids room looks spanking, bathroom all clean, tidy and fresh, our bedroom all tidy too...spare room not...but that is for dh to do...I just keep the door shut!
I've hoovered throughout and even hoovered the stairs too.

We are having a very last minute halloween party on Friday
Have invited some friends round. Thought we could have some party food etc incase the weather is too bad to trick and treat.
Woke up to snow this morning!!!!
Anyway...so because of the party I need to get downstairs looking as nice as upstairs now!
Then we can start decorating ready!!! YEY!

Good afternoon ladies

Just a quick pop in to say hiya, m on MIL's pc as mine's broken down

Hope you're all ok & flying high

Hopefully be back soon, with a lovely working laptop xx

Sagtitoldwitch · 29/10/2008 16:41

Sagtit...despite planning for bking in PJs day,DS has forsaken me for a lego minifig wigth a bullwhip. I feel unloved

So on my own I have made some crazy choc choc chip cookies, tidied up but \ds did come to help ice some rich tea biscuits and do some bat and ghost biscuit cutting out. Ah well, he is only 5. Making bread and butter may be out of the question

Golly it's cold

Can I do a bit of feeling sorry for myself please (like you haven't noticed!) I went to the docs to have my coil replaced. That was fine (if...undignified mr Herriot) One in, one out, see you in 5 years, good luck observing student thing.c But at 2am I was in awful discomfort. It felt like everything in my bits had been tweaked and nipped (suppose they had TBH). So I'm a bit tired and fragile today.

Whinge over Thanks for reading

BiancaCastafiore · 29/10/2008 16:41

How did you manage that Ruby

Enjoy the halloween party Luda We have made a ghost to hang in our tree but I need to adjust it's head...will take a pic if I can.. Pumpkin pics are on my fb page.

I have just moppe dthe floors - the colour of the water was disgusting! A mix of muddy brown and pumpkin orange

Supper needs making...left it a bit late now so I think it'll be pizza from the freezer.

sagacious · 29/10/2008 18:16

sagit Ouch !
Think I've clocked who you are (I can be very dense at times it took identical clues)

ds's are currently tidying their rooms (I wouldn't be suprised if you all heard me roaring about the state of dd's room)

Dinner is J.O's beef and ale stew.. it smells yum .. only another hour till its ready.

Slurp

TheMadHouse · 29/10/2008 19:23

sag Do you have his new book then?

Soup was a chuck it all in - chicken, leeks, carrots, peppers and seasoning. I am a bit of an experimentor. Boys refused to eat it, even though it was what they wanted. Instead they filled up on the wholemeal rolls we made (yes my halo will slip and choak me)

All my boys are snuggled up in bed watching max and ruby and I am waiting for the Tesco Delivery.

Still to do

Ironing
Bath

Ruby spill

Bianca Cool Pumpkins. DD looks really happy

Groucy Happy baking

KaplumbagaBloodyBones · 29/10/2008 22:48

Evening all.
Thought i would just pop in and say hi.

We are off to Haven friday so tomorrow i need to check we have everything packed and get last minute bits from the shops plus cash out. Although i only have about £50 to cover 4 days food, drink etc. No idea how we will manage but sure kids will have a good time.

DD1 had a accident today. She knocked the (turned on) halogen heater over and it landed on DD2's arm. Poor DD2 has stripes across her arm now where the grid on the front burnt her. She was very brave.

Think i will go to bed now and try to warm up. Still haven't put the heating on! Halogen heater is keeping us warm downstairs. Upstairs is very cold though but they will be warm in bed. Sure they will sneak downstairs into my bed if not.
Dog id my hot water bottle!
