Afternoon housework motivation thread anyone???

[FAQ]

DS's will be back here between 5 and 6pm.

This afternoon I MUST

Do the ironing
Put it away
Make DS1's bed
Go to Morrisons
Hide the Christmas presents I bought yesterday
Put the bathroom straight again (moved stuff to have the wall sorted - well of sorts - but that's a whole new thread - yesterday)
Tidy the kitchen/put the dishwasher on for a quick wash
Hoover and tidy Lounge/Diner
Start dinner

Anyone want to join me??

I have 4hr to get it all done......(and I'm childfree so no excuses )

oh well looks like it's just me

So far I've been to Morrisons and bought everything I need to last me until thursday, still have £10 left so can get bread/milk if needed.

Just having a sit down before I put everything away, then going to start the ironing.

Can I join you? Just cleaned whole bathroom and mopped floor. Now need to -

all I need to do before my sister comes tomorrow is clean the bathroom but I still can't be arsed

oh and put away some laundry too...

OMG I felt so lazy when I read my post back I swigged back my cup of coffee and went up stairs to clean the bathroom, feeling very virtuose! Then DT1 arrvied in the bathroom with a strip of small pots of paint in her hands (the type you get with paint your own piggy bank) asking me to open them. This means of course that DT2 is downstairs with his pots already open painting the table, the top of the laptop and himself. Aaaaargh!

Note to self: don't rush upstairs in a cafine fuelled burst of domesticity before checking DD1's craft box hasn't been left lying around

Oh I would love some motivation, if anyone has any to share about?

Got loads to do, but I just can't be arsed. DD is away for a couple of days. So far today, I have:

• Stayed in bed til 1.30pm reading the papers
• had a half hearted shower
• watched the Xfactor repeat
• lurked here
• eaten a massive bag of crisps

I am officially a lazy-arsed slattern

I have zero motivation to do anything
I have a stinky dose of mastitis
I officially feel like poop

but well done to everyone doing stuff

well I've done everything on the list apart from dinner - which I'm about to go and do.

Was totally stuffed up by exH forgetting the clocks had gone back so bringing them back at 4.15............ twat
