Size issues - does anyone know if an Ikea KLIPPAN sofa cover will fit into a normal washing machine?

Why I bought the white cover I don't know but it is now a rather sad shade of grey and is only going to get worse. The label says it is machine washable but I am not convinced it will fit into a domestic machine. However, I am 8 months pg (and nesting like a good'un)and don't want to have to go to the laundrette. Anyone successfully washed a KLIPPAN cover at home?

I used to have a Klippan and the covers fitted comfortably inside my 4.5kg capacity machine. The hardest part of laundering them is fiding somewhere to dry them - partic in this weather!

I have washed them at home with no problems, go for it!

They are a bugger to get back on though, at 8 months pregnant I'm pretty sure you'll need some help with that part!

Thanks, ladies! DH can be responsible for that bit but I will wash the cover while he's still at work so that he doesn't tell me not to - I think he'd be more worried about the machine...

All done and drying nicely. Now to go and bleach something. Very many thanks!
