how do you get oil out of clothes?

damn damn damn - i spilt cosmetic oil (the stuff that stops wrinkles on your face when you go to bed) on a nice new jersey cotton type top.
How can i get it out?

Have you tried dousing the stain with loads of fairy liquid, scrubbing it in, squeeze a bit more on for good measure, then put it in next wash. might have to do it a couple of times, but it usually gets rid of most stains for me (that was my mums fail safe tip!)

baby powder and a re wash?

I have found a specific stain devil or dylon care liquid for this that works very very well indeed. It is expensive but it does work even after if it's been washed and you have one of those oily marks left.
