If your boiler was leaking water all over the floor (well more dripping than pouring)...

what would you do?

Would you consider it an emergency and ring the out of hours people to come and repair it, or is it not that serious and could wait until normal office hours on Monday?

The reason I'm asking is because my boiler is beautifully situated in my living room and has managed to soak through the carpet and is beginning to lift the laminate flooring. Have only just noticed it but it may have been going on for a little while now.

mine has been dripping since Christmas I have a plastic container to catch the drips, it has been ok and we are having a new boiler this month, I wouldn't worry too much if just dripping.

Thanks OJ.

Wouldn't mind, but it was new in in August so can't see a reason for it leaking already

If it is under warranty I'd have them out immediately

well if it's new then I would be complaining, ours is 11 years old.
