Cleaning jets in a whirlpool bath ?

We have had our whirlpool bath for a few months now and its great but when you let the water out there is all this gunk at the bottom which Im guessing has come out of the jets. Is there a way to clean them ? Thanks.

OOOO I've looked for a thread on this we clean ours by filling the bath with bleach running the jets and emptying the bath with jets on. We inherited ours and the thought of other peoples pubes is minging.

Milton fluid or other sterilising tablets is supposed to do the trick. You can also buy specialist cleaner online from jacuzzi/whirlpool stockists.

A dishwasher tablet in a full bath with the jets on for half an hour once a month should do it, thats what we do and we have no gunk anymore.
