If I use white vinegar, how long will I have to leave it to 'do it's stuff'??

Someone mentioned trying it either on here or MSE when I asked about cutting back costs on cleaning stuff but now I can't find that thread and my search skills don't seem to be up to much today finding out what I want to know

If you gently repeatedly heat it and keep swishing about, takes about 10 minutes. Hour or more if you want to soak it in cold water.

soak in cold vinegar, not water, I meant.

Or get some citric acid- it's about 35p for a little box and enough for twice.

You can buy it in the chemists.

brill, thanks.

Mark, I will have a look for that next time I'm in the chemist
