Ok so im only 31 weeks but have got all ds baby clothes down from loft ready for this one. Ds was 2 weeks 'early' and im not convinced this one wont be early too.

Basically i dont like the clothes sat in the boxes unmwashed and not ready! If i wash them now and put them into the drawers away, how long do you think they stay 'fresh' for? Sorry if that sounds like a silly question! Would i need to re do them in like 6 weeks?

Hm, I might be a slacker Mum here, but I reckon that they'd be fine for months if they're clean and in a drawer. You'll have enough laundry to do when you're dealing wiht explosive nappies.

I think if you put them away clean into nice clean drawers then you can leave them for months no problem, unless your house has damp problems or anything like that! And don't cram them into the drawers - but then you wouldn't have to with tiny little newborn things anyway.

buy a bar of johnsons baby soap, unwrap, and put it in with the washed clothes, will deter moths, keep a lovely 'baby smell' on the clothes and if you decide to use the soap after the baby is born it will last for ages!

They'll definitely be fine for a few weeks. Just make sure they're 100% dry before you put them away. I even ironed DS2's clothes when I was pg. Unfortunately he turned out to be a huge baby, and never fitted into the newborn sized clothes, and only spent a couple of weeks in 0-3m.
