Evening all Sorry I've been AWOL again, but I have been very busy. DD2 turned 8today and had a party at homewhich went surprisingly well, and they are now in bed watchiing a video as a final birthday treat

I managed to paint in here, rearrange all teh furniture and declutter alot this wee, too. Dp has been at home, and helped alot (usually he says he will and doesn't so it has been nice to do it together)

The only downside is the dire financial situation (no work for dp at all, and his last job didn't pay him)

bianca - I've skimmed threads and think I saw you saying things with dh have been getting better Long may it last....

Shanna - Why is dp anti medication for depression? I hope you can get sorted and get his support, too. Happy birthday for your ds tomorrow.

I have fil here for the week, so may disappear again, as I'm going to stay out alot if I can.

Hi everyone, sorry to hear you're feeling low Shannara, I too suffer from blues! Hope you manage to have a lovely bday with your DS tommorrow. Usually I find if Ive got to keep other people happy, I find Im happy!

I've done gym this morning, tidied the flat, took DD to playdate at the park, done dinner, got DD ready for bed, went running club, showered and about to have a glass of wine! Phew! Tommorrows a rest day from exercize but food shopping with DD which is a marathon in itself sometimes!

Have a nice evening! (Without MN for a hour... eeek! )

My hospital appointment went fine today (Not that anyone asked lol!). I am being booked in for gall bladder removal op! Have to have blood test done at my GPs surgery too. Trying not to worry about it all at the moment. Have to talk to some people about child care for my DD's.

Evening everyone

Thanks for all the support. The dc's were in bed asleep by 7:45 which was lovely, no late night screaming sessions. I think part of the problem was both dc's being ill and 3 really bad nights in a row decreased my usual iron ability to keep my negative emotions locked away. I know it's actualy healthier to release them but not always easy. I will go to hte library for some self help books as a first step but I'm not ruling out a visit to the GP if I need to. DP is stressed and depressed enough for both of us and he definately won't go to teh doctor.
I've just remebered I haven't wrapped ds's presents luckily teh alarm's going off at 4am so I'll have time to quickly wrap them.
Mum and SIL are coming tomorrow dc's cousin was 2 last month and they play really nicely together ( for 2 yesr olds)
Tort glad you've got the op booked in. It'll go fine and hopefully you'll feel loads better afterwards.
jas glad dd had a happy birthday.
I'm off to bed now so I'm not all tired tomorrow.

rowingboat · 25/09/2008 22:05

Shannara, I'm glad they went off to bed with no trouble - give you a bit of peace. Aaah! The silence!
I hope getting lots of top quality sleep gives everything a new complexion tomorrow.
