Can you get gloss paint off clothing?

My jacket just had a brush with a wet paintpot! Any suggestions or am I doomed. It's a cotton sweatshirt hoody - but I like it.

Have you tried white spirit? Thats what I'd do

Unlikely, I'm afraid, but if its still wet, you might be able to get it off with white spirit, but it might just soak in and make it worse.
