How do you clean wax off marble?

Wax = candles
Marble = my friends hearth

So is there a rescue? There appears to be a residue

heat it up with a hair dryer then wipe off with some kitchen toweL?

or very hot water on a cloth to melt the wax...?

I have a marble table
Used hairspray
It worked

Marble has some kind of shine/finish on it though

I use the edge of my debit card and just gently scrape it off.

She got the lumps off

But is struggling with the residure/stain

That's not working unfortunately

Any other ideas

ditto the kitchen roll and iron method works everytime
