rust spots on clothes

hi,i just bought a baby outfit on ebay and when it arrived there are a few rusty clouured spots on the trousers,is there anything i can use to get them off?(they are white cotton)

Hi Sazm,
You could try lemon juice. As they're white it won't matter if it bleaches slightly.

Put some lemon juice on the stain and then sprinkle with salt to absorb it.

It wouldn't hurt to leave it in the sun, which would also help bleach it.

You can do this over and over and see if it disappears, just don't let the stain dry out in between.

Then just rinse in warm water and wash according to the instructions.
