Ds has a specail climate type pillow (supposedly so his head doesnt get hot) and is anti allery etc etc although it is only made of polyester! Anyway it has started to go lumpy. Obv the flling is gathering up and clumping together. Ive tried giving it a good shake but hasnt really helped. The pillow is only a few months old and when i washed our pillows not that long ago when they came out of the machine the same thing had happened (werent lumpy before they went in) so reluctant to wash his,

any ideas?

yes the allergy ones tend to do this imo

If you use a tumble dryer to dry them, add a couple of tennis balls and they seem to stop them from lumping.

those jml dryer balls are good and they make make things smell nice too

My mum bought a tempura pillow and swears by it. I am going to try it due to my allergies I cannot have feathers, but they feel weird but are excellent for overall head support and hygiene. Unfortunately the polyster hygiene ones no matter where you buy e.g. Habitat to JOhn Lewis all bunch up after a while! Good luck
