And its fab- it actually dries the clothes (unlike the hotpoint set and forget kitchen ornament that it replaced )

AND i have decided it is actually environmentally friendly because it warmed up the kitchen, utility, office and our bedroom/ ensuite- so no need for the heating on

So if anyone is thinking about paying inordinate amounts of money for a hotpoint ultima sensor dryer- don't! get a bog standard one instead- i mean how hard is it to periodically check the clothes to see if they are dry

I've just got a John Lewis dryer - and it's sooo clever. Dries clothes perfectly, and even tells you when and how it needs cleaning/emptying.

Hanging clothes all over the house, then turning the heating on max was getting ridiculous.
