Afternoon all

Luda happy birthday to your dd.
Congratulations to the winners, might have to enter the competions in future.

DD has had a good week, all her class got a certificate in assembly this morning. I was so proud to see her stand up in front of the whole school.
Not much flying done this morning, my friend came round for tea and a chat.
Hope everyone has a good afternoon, had better go and do something.
BBL

bianca hope dd is ok when you collect her from school.

I have the memory span of a goldfish today, forgotten nearly everthing I've read. Oh except luda happy birthday to dd, bianca what lovely news about your friends new baby. Its makes me go all warm & mushy inside
TMH when is your friends baby due, the one who you have given the baby things to?

I know I've missed lots Ellie walked into our bedroom last night at 2am & demanded I read Thomas Tank Engine book, then asked to see THomas & Percey. I told her they where sleep(refering to the dvd). Thomas is here was the reply I have the book

Off to hand out a load on the line.x.x.

Speaking of Presents, jewelery, christmas and tight budgets (OK, linking 3-4 different fly threads over 3-4 days) The Equality Range of cheerful jewellry is great for prensents from DCs to grans/auntie/cousins/childminders

They cost £1 a card and hey, it goes to charidee

Yes, Link please GO

I like the bracelets too Ruby and think it is a good idea.

I hope you feel better now Luda and dd has ahd a good birthday. Also hoping your dh got a bit more helpful as the day went on

Bianca - how did dd get on?

DDs are screaming....back soon

Jas · 12/09/2008 17:09

I was just about to tell you that dp had taken the dds to buy me a birthday present (a first) and they were working together to wrap it, when the screeching started. All is sorted out now though. I will have present(?s) to open tomorrow that will be a surprise I'm excited now....I've always had to buy something for myself for them to give me before as dp is totally useless at birthdays.

Not much FLYing has been done, but I had a lovely lunch with my friends, paid for with about to expire tesco vouchers, so a meal for three of us cost 25p in cash

lucysmam · 12/09/2008 17:50

evening ladies, I've forgotten almost everything I've read already but here goes . . .
luda sorry to hear about migraine, hope your dh got up & helped you out!
Ruby those bracelets are really nice, I'd appreciate something like that
Jas lol@you having to buy for the kids to give back to you, that's something I can see me having to do when my lo is older since I had to remind him to get me a card from her this year

I've had a productive day in the kitchen making flap jacks ish, tomato sauce for pasta, cooked tomorrow's chicken so we can just re-heat when we get in from town. Have also nipped out to bil's new house to help them sort a few bits and done almost all of my list. Lo is just off to bed then we need showers and pots need washing & more stuff to go in td.

Hope you've all had a good day xx

BiancaCastafiore · 12/09/2008 18:10

dd much happier, even though she got two spellings wrong She earnt some team points today so we are proud of that too
Her friend has just gone home.
Ds still has his friend here, they are going hot-wheels crazy - all very loud and excited!

rowingboat · 12/09/2008 18:56

Hi everyone just popping on to see what you are all up to.
I've been at work today and then lying down with a headache. DP made a delicious curry so we are all fed and not doing any flying.
Will be at work tomorrow, but hope to get back on the wagon on Sunday.
Maybe I shouldn't do the babysteps again, just get on with the missions.
What do you experienced flyers do when you fall off the fly wagon (if you ever have)?

TheMadHouse · 12/09/2008 19:48

Rowingboat Thats the beauty of fly you just start again, nothing is impossible in 15 mins

I am shatered,

Managed to get all the ironing away.

But I HATE THE RAIN

Jas · 12/09/2008 21:12

Agree with TMH Just jump back in wherever you stopped before. I've done babysteps twice. I do fall off the wagon repeatedly, but the babystepping has set me up with a routine to pick up again, so it never gets quite as bad as it used to be, and I know that it does work.

rowingboat · 12/09/2008 22:47

Thank you Jas and TMH!
I know you are right Jas, it is definitely easier to keep on top of things now and I definitely have a bit of routine, but just find it difficult to get it done sometimes.
I think the LO has given me his sicky ill thing and I just feel bleeeegh!
I'll be able to start again tomorrow (after work).
Thanks again!
