Anyone here use Stardrops?

It is all the rage on Moneysaving expert so I thought I'd give it a go. Tescos have never heard of it, but ASDA sell it for £1.00 a bottle.

I have only used it on my bathroom, floors, and leather suites, but Others swear by using it to wash up and pretty much do everything with it.

Do you use it?

I do and I love it! it's even good to put a bit in the washing machine drawer, to give the detergent a bit of a boost

My Mum has used this for years.

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 10/09/2008 11:20

yes. i use to wash windows/clean skirting boards. as a subsititute washing up liquid if i have ran out. as a substitute anything really.

does it work in the machine drawer? i have never tried that. getting the stains out of dd1s dance gear is a pita. i have to bleach her dance tights and they still dont get as white as the first time she wore them.

I bought some from Wilkinsons, mainly to get my pony's white tail clean . I have cleaned windows with it though and it gave a great result .

i bought it for the first time at the beginning of the month (along with loads of other cleaning stuff) to give it a try and so far I am really pleased with it!

Use it on dishes mainly at the moment and also on counter tops etc.

I found it at Sainsbury's for 75p.

cocolepew · 10/09/2008 13:22

I pay 69p for it in Asda. Doesn't it bubble too much in the washing machine?

SpecialOffer · 10/09/2008 13:28

I love stardrops. I dilute it down in a spray bottle and use it everywhere..

Not used it on dishes tho - might give it a go. Buy mine from Asda as well!

Have used it on Carpets to clean stains, on windows, counter tops, bathroom, the list goes on

lucysmam · 10/09/2008 14:41

Wilko's is about 69p for a bottle. I use it in washing machine when I've no powder left, for washing up liquid when none left, cleaning floors, windows, stains on clothes, bathroom. It's a fab product n one of the cheapest all rounders out there. Re the washing machine bubbling up thing, literally a teaspoon is all that I use n not had any major bubble overloads so far . . .

I use Stardrops with ammonia. It smells really lovely and clean. I dilute it into s spray bottle and use it for almost everything. It's good stuff!
