My DH managed to get an impressive amount of scuff stuff polish (like this) on my new-ish pale living room carpet, which is a wool mix. He tried water, soap and carpet cleaner but now we just have a bobbly bit of carpet which has lost some colour and a big grey stain. it's not in a spot I can put a rug over and so would love to hear any ideas of what I can use to get the stain out!!!
