how would i go about getting a cat poo stain out of upvc??

my cat has had a bit of a poorly tummy me thinks and had a big poo on the upvc bit of my front door on the inside - you know the bit that meets the flooring

anyway cleaned it all uo this morning whilst retching and it's bloody stained the upvc strip - i have tried bleach and cillit bang and ciff and no luck

it looks really bad too - brand new door aswell and no way of covering it over

Try bicarbonate of soda on a damp cloth. It's very good for cleaning upvc so it's worth a go. Good luck.

you'll just have to collect more runny cat shit and paint the doorway with it.

Best thing i've found for UPVC is the Flash magic Erasers - works better than the specialist cleaner I managed to negotiate from the conseratory fitters.

really? where do you buy them and what do they look like?
am going to take a trip up to wilkos tomorrow but if they are goodfor the conseratory will def get some - have loads of kid's grubby marks on the white surround of the doors in there too

Hi, same thing happened to me and what I did was wash it down with boiling water, then soak the whole area in a mild bleach, I used kitchen cleaner and scrubbed with a sponge pan cleaner, the abrasive side. Came up good as new! Try it, it worked for me :)

I find a little Miltons fluid brushed on with a paint brush will de stain many things.

Delayed in response, I just had this issue, my dog had the s*s in the night and done it all up my upvc back door he is a big boy with big poos, it has literally stained the door frame so bad. Anyway nothing would work, but then my partner had this stuff and it cleared the poo stain completely. Picture uploaded of the product.
