Has anyone got any idea how to wash a sheepskin pushchair liner. The washing instuctions say machine wash, but when I washed my previous sheepskin the backing want really hard and rough, and didn't really go back to it's orgianal shape.
Any ideas before I put it in the machine??

You could handwash in cold/tepid water with normal/baby shampoo or woolite. But I think the backing would still come out harder because its the water that makes it react like that.
Personally I'd bung in the machine on a wool wash....then dry flat when it comes out.
